Find your paperwork when you need it.
An insurance letter, a contractor's quote, or a voice memo in m4a, mp3, or wav: SideBrain can turn it into a note to review and ask about later. Audio needs the local speech model installed; the Docs list supported formats and details.
The documentation explains how data handling depends on processing and storage choices.
From letter to a note you can find again
-
Capture a document
Choose a file in Finder with the SideBrain action or drag it into the window. For iPhone files, follow the setup for an Apple Shortcut in the iPhone capture guide.
-
Review the preview
Check the extracted content, edit the note, and decide whether to save it to the selected Gbrain in the confirmation step.
-
Ask later
Ask, “When does the insurance policy expire?” and check the sources shown. Ask-your-Brain answers can be incomplete; verify important details in the note.
You can also capture files with the Finder Quick Action or macOS Services menu. See the capture guide for supported file types.
